KELLER, TEXAS -- Collin Ahsley caught first half touchdown passes of 32 and 26 yards on his way to his second game of 100 yards receiving on the season, as Flower Mound ran past Fossil Ridge 36-14 Friday at Keller I.S.D. Stadium.
Ashley's first td reception was on the Jaguars first play from scrimmage, on a 32 yard pass from Brandon Colquitt. Those two connected in the second quarter for another score of 26 yards, helping Flower Mound jump out to a 30-0 halftime lead.
On the night, Ashley ended up with 10 receptions for 108 yards and the two td's. Colquitt threw for 199 yards and two touchdows, also scoring another on the ground.
Despite being behind the entire night, Fossil Ridge never gave in, scoring two second half touchdowns on Jacob Bermejo passes to Aaron Fisher and Mark Munson.
Next week, Flower Mound takes on Haltom, while Fossil Ridge travels to Lewisville to visit Marcus.
