Lewisville at #6 Coppell Preview

Lewisville Fighting Farmers (2-6 / 0-3 in 6-5A) – The Fighting Farmers will try and end a five game losing streak Friday night at Coppell. Lewisville is also looking for its first district victory since 2007. In their three previous district games, they have allowed 56, 55 and 52 points including a 52-7 setback at Hebron one week ago. They will have another strong offense to face in Coppell on Friday. Josh Turner leads the Fighting Farmers in receptions with 34 for 400 yards and six touchdowns.
#6 Coppell Cowboys (7-1 / 2-1 in 6-5A) – The Cowboys continue their playoff push and can take another step towards that goal with a win at home against Lewisville. Quarterback Hayden Hawk continues to play mistake free football. Hawk has passed for 2,294 yards and 24 touchdowns while throwing just three interceptions. In a 42-21 victory last week over Marcus, Hawk threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns. Running Back Cam McDaniel is tied for four place in the DFW area in scoring with 17 total touchdowns, 10 rushing and seven receiving.
